Meet Our Newest Editorial Advisors!

 

The Cultures of Dignity Editorial Advisors review and provide feedback on all of our work. We rely on young people let us know when we are wrong on all of the content we send into the world – from lesson plans, to blogs, to presentations.

Young people are experts on what it means to live in this day and age but don’t always get to share their voice. At Cultures of Dignity, we get to listen to young people.

Get to know our newest editorial advisors below!

Harmonee Ross is a senior from the Bay Area, California when she is not doing racial justice work, modeling, or phone banking for the upcoming election she spends her time listening to Selena, Lenny Kravitz, and of course Mariah Carey!
Rene is a 14 year old student from Ghana. She is obsessed with Beyonce and is a strong advocate for women’s rights and gender equality. She hopes to inspire students like her to realize their importance in society and be the change they want to see in the world.
Taylor is a senior at McDonogh 35 HighSchool in New Orleans, Louisiana. She loves listening to good R&B to find peace within self, and is passionate about changing the environment and saving the world
Nadia is a 14-year student at Rancho Verde Class of 2024. She’s planning on doing something in the music/hollywood industry while using her platforms to educate others about the important topics of today’s world.
Madelyn is a 10th grader at St. Agnes Academy in Tennessee. She loves athletics, and she is determined to unify all voices.

Alyssa ( Lys ) a 9th grade student at Legacy Highschool CO, loves animals, researching, asking questions, and is passionate about the Psychology field.

Jake is in 11th grade at Oxford Academy in California and is an avid reader and journalist.

Radhika is a 15-year-old studying in India. She’s an avid reader, fancies baking and is passionate about teenage mental health and struggles faced by teenagers.

Gus is a 9th grader from northern New Jersey. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball and spending time with friends.

Jacey is entering 11th grade at Skyline High school, is passionate about the arts, and loves seeking new opportunities.

 Lauren is a senior at Allderdice High School who loves to travel with friends, and make the world a better place using her program Keeping Up With Kindness.

Shubhangi is in 10th grade at Paloma Valley High School in CA and is passionate about making her community a better place.

Benjamin is in 8th grade at Rogers Middle School in Long Beach, California. He is a sport fanatic and loves playing baseball. He is a Boy Scout working toward his Eagle and also enjoys golf and playing the sax. He is interested in helping young people understand the impact of social media on their lives.

Trinidad is a Junior at Frankfurt International School, loves Korean pop, and is passionate about learning animals and medicine.

Ava Heppner will be a Freshman at SMU next year, loves dogs, and is passionate about improving safety in schools along with gun control.

We accept applicants for the Editorial Advisors on a rolling basis.
