To kickstart the conversation, we recommend creating a handout tailored to the specific age group you’re working with. Whether it’s a blank sheet of paper with columns for pros and cons or a heart-shaped template, provide a space for students to express their thoughts visually or in writing. Inside the heart or under the pros heading, encourage them to jot down the technologies and social media platforms they use and what they appreciate about them. Similarly, on the outside of the heart or under the cons heading, ask them to note any aspects they find challenging or dislike.
