Ethical Culture Fieldston School

Self-reflection, intellectual rigor, and dedication to the community is the foundation to build a culture of dignity and strengthen all of our interpersonal relationships; faculty, administrators, staff, students, and parents. We believe the ECFS mission to embrace the ideals of ethical learning, academic excellence, and progressive education begins with empowering students to act with integrity and purpose.

The first day’s 2-hour session will increase teacher communication and create feedback loops to enable teachers to model the purpose of Advisory. Recognizing that students model adult behavior, we must learn to support the behaviors we expect of students. Building consistency and alignment around skill building for each other enables what they’re asking teaching students to do for one another. 

The second day’s 2-hour session will focus on implementation strategy and developing semester-long goals for project groups.
