Shout Out for Homeless Youth Breakfast
November 14, 2018 @ 7:45 am - 9:30 am EST
$20
- How do you get your child to talk to you? Why isn’t your child sharing more information with you?
- How can Instagram & Snapchat affect your child’s self-esteem and friendships? Why is your child online all of the time?
- How can adults help young people navigate the pressure to keep up?
- How can you talk to your child about the current cultural divisions in our country?
Attention Homes is proud to bring New York Times best-selling author and educator Rosalind Wiseman and Co-founder & CEO of Cultures of Dignity, Charlie Kuhn, to shed light on the most pressing issues facing youth today. They will expose the complex challenges young people face as they process peer pressure, group dynamics, adults, media and the political/cultural landscape and adolescent identity development. They’ll give common-sense suggestions about how to deal with these common yet complex struggles and how to teach young people to speak up more freely and treat each other with dignity. Join us in the Grand Dining Hall at Chautauqua on 11/14 with breakfast.
